Welcome to Muffy Young Handweaving and Cloth Design. I have been a handweaver and dyer since 1978, specializing in silk scarves and shawls in bold, colorful patterns. I hope that by visiting this site you'll see why I am so excited about this year's work.
This year, as before, I am dying my silks in 3 color groupings: soft, vibrant, and black with shades of white.
For 2012 I have 6 weave patterns. I will post new pictures in the coming weeks. The fellow to the right wearing my shawl is featured in the February editions of American Craft and Baltimore Style to promote the ACC Craft Fairs in Baltimore and Atlanta. I hope to see you there!
